HUNTLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT
Huntley approved a four-year Flock Safety lease in 2023 for 17 license-plate readers at a reported total cost of $187,150, intended for major thoroughfares entering and leaving the village.
Huntley's presentation described searchable plate number, make, model, color, and unique features including bumper stickers, decals, and roof racks, and described Flock as producing leads through a vehicle's “fingerprint.”
Public documentation reports Huntley outfitted officers with Axon body-worn cameras in 2023 as part of the same period of technology upgrades.
