Current findings are attributed to the agency named in the source. Operational state is shown separately from evidence quality so an investigation, pause, or sharing change does not erase the underlying deployment record.
Police investigating alleged unauthorized Flock use
On August 27, 2026, Channahon said an internal audit found that an officer allegedly used the department’s Flock system for unauthorized purposes. The officer was placed on administrative leave, the Village opened an internal investigation, and Illinois State Police began reviewing the matter. The Village also said it added advanced audit tools. The statement does not say the Flock system itself was suspended.
