In interviews published by Motherboard/Vice, Amazon delivery drivers described Netradyne camera events they believed were erroneous. One driver said turning to check a side mirror before changing lanes could trigger a distracted-driving event. Drivers also described alleged false following-distance and stop-sign events, including reports involving yield signs or locations where they said no stop sign existed.

These are worker accounts reported by journalists, not independently adjudicated findings about each event.

Why it matters: A camera can accurately observe where a driver's head moved while still misunderstanding why. Turning an observation into a performance judgment requires interpretation.
