Rockford approved a $443,998.16 sole-source Flock contract on March 2, 2026: a one-year term with three optional one-year extensions. City procurement material assigns the FY2026 term ($110,999.54) to an Organized Retail Crime grant and the FY2027–FY2029 renewal options ($110,999.54 each) to the Police Department Intel Unit budget. The same memo says earlier ORC24 and ORC25 grants funded Flock Operating System software, Flock LPRs, and Flock PTZ cameras for development and expansion of the Intelligence Unit.
